FAQSQ: Why rainbows?
A: Ever since I could draw I've drawn rainbows! They are my favorite thing to draw and just make me happy! Q: How did you get the idea to leave rainbow rocks for people to find? A I was inspired by a very kind-hearted person name Carol my mom met and introduced me to who started the #wordrocks project. You can find out more about her on her website Word Rocks. Q: How many rocks do you want to make? A: The more the better (!) but my goal is to make 500 rocks and donate all proceeds to my local homeless shelter, the Bay Area Rescue Mission. Q: What do we actually get? Are you actually shipping the rocks? A: I would love to, but I'm only 7 with limited time and still in school! Plus, I want to make as many rainbow rocks as possible so I'm only asking $1 per rock. For your donation, I will leave a rock out in the "universe" for someone to find and spread kindness! ALL donations will go to the Bay Area Rescue Mission. Q: What kind of paint do you use? Is it eco-friendly? A: I use Fun Chalk Markers which are eco-friendly with bright colors. I was already using them on some of my art drawings and they were kind enough to donate some for this project! Q: Okay I want to support your cause, how can I help? A: Yay! That makes me so happy to hear. You can donate HERE! Q: Can other kids get involved? A: Sure! I would love other kids (and grown-ups) to get involved so we can scatter as many rainbow rocks as possible around the world! Just use the hashtag #rainbowrockproject so we can find you and share. For now my mom handling the social media for me because I'm not allowed to do that stuff :) You can find her on her kids creative site, hello, Wonderful.
